At the Villa Waldberta, the City of Munich's international house of artists With: Evangelia Basdekis (Athens), Martin Janícek (Prague), Olivia Moura (Marseilles), Edgar Lliuya (Vienna), Stefanos Pavlakis (Athens), Theräs Reich (Berlin) Artistic Director: Judith Egger (Munich) Villa Waldberta will again be the location for an international ArtLab from July until September 2007. Some of those artists who have already participated in ArtLab 1 last spring, will join the second part of this project. While ArtLab 1's primary target was the composition of the truck's "artistic luggage", the artists of ArtLab 2 are invited to actively take part in the events envisaged to take place in Munich in autumn: the programme ranges from the "European Heimatabend" at Villa Waldberta to the exhibition "open here: unpacking!" at Pasinger Fabrik, the focus of which is to communicate the entire process of the project's evolvement as well as specific artistic statements regarding the topic of migration. In addition to the Department of Arts and Culture, City of Munich, other co-organizers and partners are Soho in Ottakring (Vienna), Divadelní Ústav (the Czech Theatre Institute in Prague), Metal Culture (Liverpool), Cola Production (Marseilles) and Cosmos of Culture (Athens).
